Josh Harlan

Biography

Mr. Harlan founded Harlan Capital Partners to capitalize on opportunities presented by niche and emerging asset classes. He has more than 20 years of experience in private market investing, portfolio management, and investment banking. 

He was previously a portfolio manager and a member of the private markets investment committee at OPTrust, which manages one of Canada’s largest pension funds. Prior to that, he was a director in the investment banking group at Allen & Company, where he focused on media and technology companies. 

Mr. Harlan received an AB summa cum laude in philosophy from Harvard College, a master’s degree from Balliol College, Oxford, and a JD degree from Yale Law School. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
